As an electrician it’s invaluable to know that a piece of equipment you installed is operating correctly when you leave a site. The test system allows the contractor to assure the customer that EVSE is operating properly and safely after the installation is complete. This is also valuable to the contractor who knows they won’t be getting a call back when the first car comes along to charge, they know the EVSE will work properly day one. As for the test system, itself in five minutes from opening the box I was able to test our onsite EVSE, and print a report from my PC. The durable case is perfect for job site and the touch screen works well even with gloves. Lastly a feature I found to be a real time saver was the barcode scanner, it quickly scans the EVSE into the reports getting me onto the next project at hand.”
