Neal Roche CEO and Founder
CEO and founder Neal Roche, a 20-year veteran of the test and measurement industry, leveraged his experience and industry knowledge to establish Gridtest Systems in 2011. In creating Gridtest Systems, he is addressing an entirely new set of challenges faced by Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturers and charging infrastructure providers that comes with using electricity to power clean transportation. Gridtest is the only EV charger test equipment manufacturer to address these challenges by effectively testing and verifying interoperability and performance, in accordance with US and International standards. Mr. Roche’s testing background provides him with a unique perspective to address R&D lab and field deployment testing. Throughout his career, Mr. Roche honed his business expertise working sales, marketing and product line management in the US, Europe and Asia at both publicly traded companies and start-up enterprises. He earned his diploma in Telecommunications Engineering from Atlantic College in the Dublin, Ireland.
Tom Schurman Vice President Product Development
Tom Schurman, Vice President Product Development, is a seasoned engineering leader with a record of reliable implementation, bringing products from concept to market in less than 12 months. His expertise includes software development and QA for complex distributed software systems as well as program management and systematic processes that ensure exceptional execution. Previously, Mr. Schurman held senior management positions at leading technology corporations and led teams in the United States, India and Romania. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer and Software Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts. Gridtest Systems, a global Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure test equipment manufacturer, is the first to deliver test systems that measure and record interoperability, and demonstrate reliable and safe operation of EV charging stations, in accordance with global industry standards.
Eoin Licken Director Business Development EMEA
Eoin Licken, Director Business Development EMEA, is responsible for expanding business and commercial relations in Europe and the Middle East. He brings more than 25 years of experience in renewable energy distribution, software, mobility, and network management business initiatives, including developing and managing channel sales and partnerships for mobile charging solutions. Mr. Licken graduated from Dublin City University with a MAJ in Journalism and earned his BSc (Eng) in Electronic Engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
